Sazio Restaurants

Brief

Formerly known as the Pasta Bowl, these Italian restaurants were given a brand overhaul in 2003 by OUCH. Wrongly associated with simply Pasta, the team of owners approached us to propose how they would be able to completely change the name of this popular well known local restaurant. Sazio, 'contented or satisfied' in Italian was proposed and a new image created for the brand.

A new property was bought as the test site in Pinner, Hertfordshire, whilst the four others remained Pasta Bowl. Within 4 months, seeing the success of the new restaurant, the owners decided to change the other 4 Pasta Bowls to Sazios. Restaurants in Harpenden, Rickmansworth, St Albans, Pinner and Harrow all carry the Sazio brand and are highly successful outlets of this now well known chain.
